Last summer I posted some Morrisonite rough that I had started to tumble. Here is what it looked like last August: After 20 or so weeks in 60/90 I emptied out my 15lb barrels and started small batches in my 33b. I ran the remaining grits for 2 weeks each and AO polish for 4 weeks. I still have over 30lb worth that is ready for the small tumbler but this is what I have so far. I found that tumbling is perfect for me, as I procrastinate and usually dread changing or even checking the barrels. Jason

Finally! It has been a long wait to see a finished batch. Beautiful work that was worth the wait.

After 20 or so weeks in 60/90 I emptied out my 15lb barrels and started small batches in my 33b. They look great but 20 weeks?! OMG! Is that 20 weeks with weekly recharges? It seems like you should have had sand after that much time.

My large tumbler runs slower than most (less rpm) so it takes a little longer but less breakage as well. Also the Morrisonite was very rough and is one of the hardest materials you can work with, it does not break down very fast or easy.

That tumble sure took a long time but it has paid off! I guess I thought Morrisonite was softer than that... That's not the same stuff I bought from you right? The little that I have cut of that so far has been really hard too (some with dendrites). Fran

What amazing stones! Can anyone look into the random shades and lines of this stuff and resist putting a picture together? It blows me away. I'm going to have to get me some of this. Good job!
