For some reason I always end up losing my bookmards and end up using those post-it flags - I wanted something that stayed put in my book despite the fact that it gets tossed around in my work back pack (where they all end up falling out) I beaded a super "Mona Lisa" bookmark but that keeps falling out of my books too. I found this one that seems to stay put - they call it a book thong - The first one is my "superman" bookmark - sorta - make out of copper and stainless rings with an aluminum "scale" cape (KD if you're reading this post, don't try to read the text, it's from "The Strain") There are two tiger eye hearts - that I didn,t do - they're beaded on beading wire Here's a closeup of the little guys Here are the other two I made thanks for looking

Those are neat Nancy! My daughter made me something similar in school for Christmas last year. I use it sometimes but must admit that Im one of those awful people that "dog ears" the pages of books. Bad habit I know.

Yup you can make one, use crimp beads to lock them together at the ends I recommend using some big beads with little one - it helps it dangle properly. Shannon, they show how to make an origami bookmark on youtube that you just slip on the edge of your page: Cuz you just can't dog ear a book - that's so wrong!
