but I knocked off 3 molsons canadians, filled my thumbler ultra vibe 10 with some slabs/cabs and old tumbles from a previous batch, went to my grandsons 2nd birthday party (next door) drank another 8 cans while grilling hamburgers and hotdogs, opened another can when I came home, checked the tumble and IT'S STILL WORKING!! Beer has nothing to do with tumbling rocks!! You have NO idea how many times I had to re-write this before I posted it. Then my wife came over and spilled my last beer!! (I caught it before must was wasted.)
Tumble pictures coming up in a few days.

I can tell ya one thing, white russians have everything to do with tumbling. I drink plenty of those while my tumbler is running and my batches always seem to turn out there best. Also, if I drink a Red Bull, I'm much more productive in the shop. I can cut 400 pre-shapes in a few hours. If I eat a thanksgiving dinner, I can't even move a piece of tumble rough afterwards

Lee you crack me up!!!!!!
I need to sit down the cigars and trying cabbing drunk, maybe that is my problem. All I know is I am doing the darn low carb diet and Michelob Ultra sucks!!!!! What sucks more is watching Tony drink Blue Moon, my fav with 29 carbs, versus 1.9.
Moab, I plan to drink every real beer I can get my hands on!!!!
AMBER!!!

Amber, you're right! That last batch you posted was rather pathetic . The smoke particulates get on your wheels and puts that distracting gloss on your rocks. Randy, you might have something going for you there. I find that if I fill up on bourbon, I'm pretty sure that I'm a great flintknapper and didjeridu player...the next day generally proves different I'll have to try the white russians. The slabs and cabs in the vibe were ground on my wheels to 220 grit SiC so I started them at 500 SIC. Rinsed them off today and charged the vibe with 1000 AlO..probably run it for 2 days..might pull the labradorite tomorrow. Lee

I burned up the didjeridu. After a few white russians I thought that it was a bong.

You guys are funny!
I have to wait until I am completely done doing anything with sharp things (including the rocks) before I can start drinking.

Your wife just told you that you sucked because she is jealous that you were witty, engaging, and wildly attractive to women while you're drunk. She probably trashed your arrow points in a jealous rage. My wife doesn't appreciate how cool I am when I'm hammered either. It's a chick thing.

To sort of wrap up this thread. The tumble is done. First the cabs - Then the filler Some chrysacolla that Las Choyas cab Some Texas Pet - And Labradorite - never could tumble it..won't try it again unless I have a full batch - This should lay my Molson tumble to rest. Lee

Yep. I got to admit. I do some of my best cabs with a cool one (usually Dundee's Honey Brown ale) next to the grinder, my wireless headphones on with the grateful dead playing, and about 200 cab sized stones dopped and waiting...
