First and foremost ... I am now trying to see if maybe I cannot fix this other vibe (bad motor I think). I just cannot stand not having at least one vibe batch (even if it is just for about 10 hours a day) going!
NOTE: DAM ... I am previewing this post many times and see that more of the batch show specks than I can see with the naked eye ... Woof! .... help!
I also see the carnelian I forgot to pull ... but it did not come out too bad.
And ... Fran is going to know which pieces done are from all the awesome goodies she sent me ... I hope I did some justice to them ... they are really cool looking finished.
Here are the pictures .... ALL input is wanted and needed. But .... FYI ... I consider this (albeit no where near perfect) my first finished vibe batch.
And ... the big pile of little tocks you see are a combination of residual of mine and a whole champagne flute filled with small polished stones I used for cushioning. Sounds weird ... but I thought that since they were small and polished they could do no harm. Please say something if my mindset is wrong on this. I may use them again in the final polish stage for cabs.
All stones and rocks are dry.
What the rocks/stones that look like they have blood on them? It is the only way I can describe the rock. It really is neat!
And ... the Obsidian? .... do not know ... it will only take (this is me you are talking about) a matte finish. But if you look closely ... it has very subtle & different colored bands inside.
And ... it never ceases to amaze me how awesome the shine is on pet wood and opalized wood .... and I think some semi petrified wood (the blacker pieces).
You can stare at a rock for hours and never see the same thing twice.

rocknrob: That was one heck of a windstorm that thankfully missed me. I guess Seatac almost hit 60mph gusts. I bet those were some fun landings
