This is a 5x7 picture frame, that I did a little decorating on...can't help myself, even the littlest agates intrigue me! Too little to do anything else with, but i figure if they survived the tumbling process, they should be used for something and not wasted. Thanks for looking

Now that is a good idea. Love the fact that you used varying blends of reds and oranges. Would look good with a photo taken in autumn in it.

I like that idea. Back when I was doing stained glass, I made a picture frame using glass and zinc U-tube. It worked, but it was a bit crude. Your frame looks "right"! You've found a really good job for some little agates!

Hey thanks. I thought about doing a necklace, but I think someone else is trying that, wanted to wait and see if they figured out how to get them drilled or not, Lord knows my hands are too big to try it. Then this idea came along, and originally I planned on filling the spaces with polly or something, but after I finished it, I liked it the way it was. The pictures really don't do it justice, I'm no photographer, but it did turn out kinda pretty.

Well, you wouldn't be freezing right now!! 90 degrees today, perfect for hunting, but plays havick on the heat scensors in the body. The humidity gets ya here, being around the lake. But it's fun anyways.

I was also thinking about putting some more around the outside edge of the frame, what do you guys think? I also see some spots where it's a little blank, and the frame is seen pretty good.

That is wicked pretty. I don't think I am seeing what you see as I think it looks great as it is. Your idea would make great gifts for loved ones.

I really like this idea. If you don't mind my asking, what did you use to attach them to the frame?

There is not a craft store close by, so I had to use a little imagination in what to glue them on with. Went to the hardware store, and started looking at all the adhesives they carry, and "goop" says it will stick to marble, so I tried it, it works awesome! And it was only 5.00 for the tube of it. No messy sticky superglue (that I wind up sticking more too than the agates lol). I wanted something that would allow me to work with these tiny little guys, and still not have my fingers stuck to anything and everything in the work space, this stuff works really well.

That's a beautiful frame! I think it looks wonderful as-is. I think a picture from a day at the beach would look great in it.
