Chris and I went to Moab and rock hounded along the way there, and along the way back. We started out in Idaho at 3pm on Friday, went to Moab stopping at 1 collecting place along the way. We spent Saturday around Moab, then headed home Sunday and stopped at 3 different collecting places on the way. We stayed overnight in Utah and then Monday morning we collected in Utah and Monday afternoon we collected in Nevada. We got home about 7pm Monday night.
Guess the total mileage down to the tenth of a mile. The one closest to the total mileage gets a flat rate box full of stuff we collected along the way, there is pigeon blood agate from Green River area, Woodside agate, and some unidentified stuff from the Lucin area.
If someone nails the mileage down to the exact tenth of a mile, I will throw in a box of Owyhee jasper and Snake River agate as a bonus.
I reset the trip odometer when we left and then I took a picture of the mileage on my odometer tonight sitting in my driveway. I will post the pic next Sunday evening. Whoever is closest will win.
You can change your guess as many times as you like, but only your last guess will count.
Good luck!!
Tony

Okay, I'll give it a go. If I add the trip down to the trip back and throw in a couple of off the beaten tracks. . . . . . . . .
1250.43 miles.

Maybe a few more miles than I thought? Let's try 1184.1
Sounds like you had a great time!
