Can anyone help me find a used or new rubber liner for my tumbler? One of mine split and rubber gasket seal just won't work. Do any of the new tumblers that look like it have interchangeable parts? This tumbler has two separate rubber "tubs" accessible on opposite sides of the drum.
This is my favorite rotary tumbler and I'm out of action! Hmmmmm. Maybe I should say the tumbler's out of action! ;D Susan

I'm not sure what exactly your barrel looks like but when mine blew on my 15 lb barrel I bought some rubber pond liner from the local home depot. I used the lid from the barrel as a template and used a razor blade to cut it. It has worked great. Also I have enough rubber to make as many as I should ever need and probably cost less than what the rock shop would have charged for one liner.

Hi Susan, I know from experience that a Thumler's Model B (15 lb.) liner will fit, but you lose the 6&6 capability. I don't think anyone manufacturers the smaller liners, so you might have to try eBay. I use tire inner tube for the lid gasket, which seems to work okay so far. I've ordered belts from www.mcmaster.com because I couldn't find them anywhere else. I did have to modify the motor mounting holes in order to fit the belts. Hope this helps! Chuck

Jason & Chuck, Thank you for the help. My "lid liners" are okay, it's the barrel liner that died. I hate to give up the ability to tumble two 6# barrels at the same time. I will look into replacing them with the 12#, but sometimes it's hard to come up with enough to fill something that big! Susan
