OK you are probably more than tired of pics from our trip so I figured I'd bombard your mind with a few more. These are from our drive from Panguitch Utah to Las Vegas. We stopped early in the morning and collected about 100 lbs of agate and jasper from a site near Panguitch but I will wait to post those until I can get pics of the rocks, which are still in their boxes. Panguitch is a small town in the middle of nowhere but apparently its quite the tourist place since its near Zion. There were about 16 hotels in the town but only 3 restaurants, go figure. The countryside around there is very alpine. Here is the Seiver River valley. We drove from there to Zion National Park. I know Adrian already posted from there but I can't resist throwing in a few more. It is so beautiful there. Took this one through the window in the tunnel as we drove. Here's the opposite view looking at the tunnel window. Virgin River Canyon. Roadside colors west of the park. Virgin River Gorge on highway 15. This is the most expensive stretch of highway ever built in the U.S. Its quite a dramatic drive. The Mojave Desert. Very inhospitable. And two views of Vegas from our hotel window. One during the day and the other at night. Thanks for looking. If you want to see more you can check out all the pictures we took that day here picasaweb.google.com/tonyterner/Day5PanguitchToVegas#
