Hi All-
Don't forget to bring your metal detector if you have one. Never know what you might come across in the field. Good chance you may find nothing but on the hand - you might be pleasantly surprised.

Burro Creek part 2? #1 was a blast! Memories I will treasure always. Unfortunatly, can't say for sure due to some big plans... but if there is any chance I can get out there I will! I wouldn't miss another trip like that for anything... well except one thing (hint: *waaahhhhhhhhh*). I have been hoping for another Burro Creek trip and have been itching to get out to AZ like you wouldn't believe! Steve

Wykedwyre, I didn't even look yet when Tucon is happening. I went last year, so much to see...so little time. I have a contact there that I need to take some local rock to, so I will probably be going too.

Haha Ed n Sheri Sheri she's not pregnant yet so no due date but that will hopefully change. If I can I'll be there. I was thonking for us California folks... that in order to drive out there we'd have to drive right through quartzite. That seems pretty harmless Steve

HI Everyone, My name is Tim a new guy to the board. I got some bad news for you for all the Burro Creek fans. The Bagdad mine has shut down the collection site for the true purlple agate, they fenced it off aleast a mile before the site.

Welcome to the board Tim! We don't go to Burro Creek for purple agate only, there is much more out there to collect and a ton of good times chatting and hounding with other rockhounds! Please come join us this year!!

You are right, the best thing about Burro Creek is the camping and hanging out with friends. This is still the best collecting site in Arizona, we found some nice bacon agate, some pastels and a few garnets. Thanks for the invite on the trip, I will try and make it.

Hey Sherri, any idea of the number of people that will be at Burro Creek? I'm still hoping to make it. Can't wait.

Bill and Angie and I are thinking are thinking about going. We need a warm trip and the timing of this looks good for us. If Don and Dorothy are going to be there then I know the camping is dog-friendly.

I have all my toes and fingers crossed. The only thing that can keep me from being at Burro Creek is if I get offered a real job in january. I may have a chance at a job at three locations that pay well. I won't mind taking a job after Burro Creek, but I'll be upset if it happens before.

I am going to have to set a deadline on the rsvp's. In order to provide enough staples and snacks, I must have an rsvp and payment by January 20th. That barely gives me enough time to put this together! Please, Please help out with this!!
