The dinners sound delicious. Although the three meals are spoken for, if I can pull it off, I plan on making brocoli and ziti with alfredo sauce. It'll make for a good side dish. Sending the dry ingrediants down via usps to Jamie tomorrow. lol.

Once again I drove Highway 93 on the way to Tucson today. Every time I see the Buro Creek sign I wish I was going hounding instead of selling. Maybe someday. By the way, Buro Creek was more like Buro River.

Guys I am so freaking excited I can't control myself!!!! I woke up to 11 degrees this morning, 65-70 is going to be a heat wave!!!! Can't wait for tons of fun with everyone!

I'll be out there on Saturday. Wish I could get time off work for the whole trip but it ain't in the cards. Been busy putting some beefy gift bags together tho, can't wait to see y'all! I was just reading a trip report on another board - the road to Burro Creek is in pretty bad shape from what I read, guys. Here's hoping they get it repaired in time for you!

Looks like we won't be going - due to iffy weather and reports that the road into the collecting area is washed out...another storm is moving in to NM on Wed.

UPDATES!!
Weather predictions look good. A few showers on Wed, and on Sunday. Thur, Fri & Sat look good, no rain and highs in the mid 60's all week and the lows will be right at 40 all week.
I talked to the BLM and the road down to the campground is clear but we are not sure about Burro Creek Crossing yet. I left a message for the forest ranger to call and let me know the conditions.
No one has the group site reserved before us so we can set up whenever we want! There are plenty of room for the RV's to pull in one right after the other!!
We need FIREWOOD!! Please, if you can, get fire wood on your way or look when you get there. Start a pile please.
I have purchased all the staples that we will need. Paper cups, plates, napkins and plasticware. I will have a few rolls of TP and plan on getting Salt & Pepper.
Brent called and arrived safely in Queen Creek and is looking forward to seeing everyone at Burro Creek.
Well guys, gonna throw this out.......if anyone needs me to do anything..........call me at 480-240-8710. I will get it done!

Last I heard it was just going to be a light snow in MA Should be in the air before anything gets messy.

Last minute update! I drove down to the agate beds this evening! We took a 2 wheel drive pick up and had no trouble at all! There is tons of agate just waiting on us!
Also, I scheduled a tour of the Bagdad Mine (Jamie's idea) for those who want to go on Saturday at 11am. We will all meet our Guide in Bagdad and carpool from there. It is free!
I am leaving tomorrow and will set up tomorrow night........Drocknut will also. See you all there!!

Hi to all, just wanted to say I am sooooo excited to be able to go to the Bash. Too bad there isn't a smiley on here of a person jumping up and down with excitement...lol. I'll just have to express my feelings in words: yippeeee, whoopie, yahoo (and I don't mean the search engine), wheeeee, hot diggity, Here I come! From here in Key Largo, Fl all you guys have a really great time. I been reading about everybody's excitement & I am almost there too. Thank you Tony for making it possible for those of us who can't be there to get a piece of the action.
