Well, after a 50 year absents to rockhounding, I decided last winter that I would get back into the hobby. It really never left my blood so it wasn't hard to get back into the flow of things. Began collecting in Southern New Mexico and Arizona, using the Gem Trail books as a guide. When I return to Oregon in the spring I bought a Loretone T66 tumbler and a 10 inch saw. Spend most of the summer cutting and tumbling. Love the idea od seeing whats new in each rock! Anyway I sm hooked again now. Will have lots of questions I am sure. Have enjoyed reading all the post and looking at pictures. Will post some pictures soon as I figure out how to do it.

97845? Sounds like an Oregon Zip Code to me. Welcome to the board. You will find the rock hounds here totally supportive, encouraging and helpful. Looking forward to some pictures of your "gems".
When you are ready to upload pictures in a post, send me a PM and I will walk you through it. Karock
