Very very nice, especially for a first attempt. I really like the design elements.
The only suggestion I have is the size of the opening in the bail. Some people like thicker chains or linked chains which may have trouble fitting.

Yep, Larry gave you a good suggestion. I really like what you did and I like the copper with the color of the stone. Jo

Wow - that's a heckuva first attempt! Very nicely done. Yep, the bail opening could be a tad larger to accomodate thicker chain, but hey - you done really good!

Great looking wrap. The copper does go with the stone. Another thing is you might want to close your loops. I always think...if I rub it on a cashmere sweater, will it pick. EVERYTHING picks a sweater. Ken

Thanks guys for the kind words and good advice, all well taken. there is one side affect to wire wrapping I have found , is that I don't sleep well at night. the reason being is while I lay there at night and I have all these different designs dancing thru my head and by the morning I can't remember them. I guess I'll have to keep a notepad by the bed and but the design on paper so I can get some sleep.

Great first attempt, although "attempt" is not the right word-you got this right on! I know what you mean about sleepless nights

I'm impressed. Very artistic design. I like the wire over the lower part of the stone. I often have problems with the cab being loose and your design should definitely solve that problem. What type of stone is the cab? Susan

I have to say that I am impressed too! You did great and a delicate chain would look good with that one! Fran
