OOOOOH - Pretty! Julie, what are the dark red ones called? The picture jaspers are gorgeous! And there are what looks like quartz with some sort of bright shiney clouds backed by some dark clouds - I love those! Good on ya, kid!

I also just thought of something ....
All in all .... even though there are many pieces that just did not happen the way I want (I may start them over again in another way), I ended up with pretty nice shines on most of them.
As always

Julie, Frames 17 through 23 are exciting, especially 22 and 23 with the banded Jasper. Really nice shape to compliment the color. Karock

I think the quartz doesn't like to be mixed with agates. Even though they are listed at the same hardness, a quartz will always loose out between the two. Your jasper with pyrite (red) looks really nice and the burro creek took a great shine! It still has a little of the matrix and roughness on the edge but it seems to add to them. The picture jaspers are always a bit sensitive because of the different levels of hardness that runs through them. You had a very tough batch there Julie and you did great with them! Fran

I tried to make you proud Fran, considering you sent me the bulk of those goodies and I suppose the attempt is something to be proud of.
I just didn't pay enough attention (close enough yet) as to the internal workings of the rocks and not just the mohs. Just when you think you understand, nature decides she has a few more lessons to teach you.
I have not posted the pictures yet ... but the two pieces I did cut and tumble of the Plasma .... did not come out very well and with those two, my heart is slightly broken.
Will post more pictures this evening!
As always Guys...

I love making different shapes.
For some reason when I cut ... I just go off the beaten path. ;D
Thanks
