I found these 2 little pieces of what I'm pretty sure is amazonite, and they have small inclusions of something that gleams gold in some lights, silver in different light. Am I looking at mica? Thanks for any info anybody can offer. I'm just curious, cause I don't know much about rocks, but I'm trying to learn. Tom

Since Amazonite isn't found in Tejas, there's a better chance of it being serpentine. There are four or five recorded serpentine locations in the state. (Or is it still a country? ) The closet locale to SA for serpentine is in Knippa.
