Those are nice, Julie! Was that vibe batch all preforms? What's your ratio of preforms to cushion, and what's your cushion? So far, I haven't gotten a shine like that from my vibe except on the very hardest beach rocks. Very nice.

They should all look pretty nice wrapped! I have a bunch of stuff still sitting on my table waiting for me to get around to wrapping them. Maybe you will inspire me to do it! Fran

Good job, I really like the plume (withe the yellow?). Try getting some black felt and angle your camera for less glare ( just a suggestion) maybe that would work. Karock

So...will you reform the preforms to remove the polish packin' pitted parts?

Thanks All!!
Karock .... I bought a big pack of different colored construction paper as I wanted to try to find out which colors work with which rocks to eliminate the glare.
If I use a black piece underneather the rocks or stones that are light(er) colored, I can eliminate the glare?
I am quickly finding out that a good to great polish on a rock is a pain in the butt when it comes to the photographing. WOOF!
Carlos!!! Great idea .... it did not occur to me to take these two pieces (and others) and smooth out the edges with either the WF or the Gryphon and then toss them into the next batch of same MOHS to try to polish again.
Thanks Guys

Very pretty. Are the white specs part of the rock, or was that the pits you were referring to? Either way, great looking rocks!

Nice batch! Yep, you could shave them smooth with your saw and toss them another batch beginning at 220. When you think of it, you got ALOT less bloody noses than you used to. Making good progress there. Love the purple and the plume. Can't wait to see what you do with them!
