Does anyone know of anyone with a sphere machine that would turn up a couple of small specimens for me...for compensation, of course? I did a search on here but did not find anything...thanks

I don't know any members but John Rowland is a pro. I don't know what he would charge. Rare Earth Trading Company, (512) 970-9092. www.Rareearthtrading.com. E-mail : spheremaster@yahoo.com. There is a lot of time involved in sphere making so expect a hefty price.

I'm not sure if he makes spheres himself or sends out for them, but a member here, 1934new, has a large collection of spheres and has been asking around for material large enough to make 7" spheres. Perhaps look him up, pm him, whatever. Good luck,
Don

Contact Richardsons Rock Ranch in Madras Oregon. They specialize in spheres, matter of fact if you go there they have a room with thousands of spheres from a marble size to I think 24 inch. There website is www.richardsonrockranch.com They also manufacture there own line of sphere machines. Give them a call and they should be able to hook you up. Jason
