As I've mentioned, I recently resurrected a Lortone 3A tumbler that used to belong to my brother and is at least 25 yrs old. The other day the original drive belt broke. I emailed Lortone, explained that my tumbler was from the early '80s and wanted to make sure that the current replacement belt would fit. I received the following email today;
I just wanted to give credit where it's due, free replacement parts (including shipping) on a 25 year old item is above and beyond in my mind.

That's great! Honda could learn a lesson or two (as we're now facing replacing the transmission in our 2000 Odyssey for the 2nd time...).
Sorry, just had to vent. That really is good service from a company that sometimes gets knocked for the quality of their current equipment.

Ditto on the great customer service from Lortone. When I bought my 10 inch cabinet saw used I emailed them for a user manual and they sent me one right away no charge. I've heard they have parts for just about any saw or tumbler they made. Another good source for tumbler parts is Eloxite in Wheatland, WY. They have a whole area dedicated to tumbler parts and the old boy who started the place loves to sit and talk about tumblers. Eloxite's website: www.eloxite.com/Disclaimer: I have no association with Lortone nor Eloxite other than being very happy customer for years.
