I don't know Dale but I may have done business with him. In spite of all that's been said, though, I have to state my personal conviction that :
1. Actions speak louder than words
2. The words of some dealers against him may well be based on their own attempts to divert blame for a transaction gone bad. Sociopaths never assume responsibility for their own misdeeds. I have had enough contact with some wholesale/commercial dealers to know there are plenty of pretentious scumbags out there.
3. If a vendor makes an effort to provide good quality merchandise, they usually have some pride in their business and its reputation.
4. Caca happens. Sometimes people fail to act in accordance with expectations more as a matter of human failure than intent. Cut some slack where you can.
5. People are usually consistently honest and fair or consistently scoundrels.
6. If something can be misunderstood, sooner or later it will be.
6. Everyone is entitled to have (my) opinions.
It's been said here that Dale has a bad reputation. I haven't heard from anyone except our new member of any first hand bad experiences with him. I'm sorry there was a problem for him. Caca happens and miscommunications occur. I would think the matteer would have been resolved quickly and amicably long since, though. All the other accounts have been hearsay. It is established that he provides good merchandise. See rule number 3 and 5 above. Maybe Dale needs an accountant or sales help but I think he has tried to provide a quality product at a fair price. I'd consider buying from him.
