I have looked and looked on the net, and could not find anything in wire wrapping that included a cab and a cross. There are crosses with beads, & crosses made of just wire, but nothing I could find that incorporated a cab of stone. I worked on this thing for 5 hours, and it will be the only one I do...at least for a long time. There is tons of wire involved, and if I had to explain how I did it, I'm not too sure I could. The reason I am posting it ....because I would love to see someone make one, that looks pretty. This one is ok, but it's bigger than I wanted it to be, and I must have taken it apart 10 times b-4 coming up with this. The stone is 25x18 mm, overall it is 3 1/2 inches tall, and 2 inches wide.....See what you guys think of it. As always, thanks for lookin', and input welcome!! Marie

To be honest, I wouldn't even see a cross if you didn't tell me. But regardless, the wrap is interesting - nice design. Neat stone.

That's a great job, very creative!! ...especially for someone that's new to this stuff. I've been asked about crosses before, I may have to give this a try. That's very cool!!

Wow, Marie, that's a very pretty cross, I think. It's ornate, perhaps even baroque looking. Like an old world cross. Here's one I did for my daughter - no wire involved, just tons of patience with limited tools. Tom (PS - not trying to hijack your thread - you said you couldn't find anything with a cab and a cross ...... )

Tom, That is really pretty! I have seen a few stone shaped crosses, and even some of those wrapped, but I guess I should have said it differently, I haven't seen anything done with a cab, round, oval, pear, or otherwise, and wirewrapped to have the cab in the center of the cross. Which is what I tried like crazy to accomplish with this one. It took forever, it about took the very last nerve I had, and by the time I was finished with it, I was ready to wad it up and thro it away! LOL Tons, and tons of wire too. But, maybe Randy can come up with something really pretty, and he can tell me step by step how he did it.................until then, I don't think I'll be doing another one. Thanx for showin' me your cross, I think it is just too pretty! I bet your daughter loves it.

Honestly, Oh Wow was what came out of my mouth after reading and then scrolling to the pic. Even if you don't think it is perfect, the design is great and worth expanding on.
I hope you don't mind if I borrow your idea also. It is just wonderful.

The idea is open to anyone who wants to use it...I warn ya tho, it's a bugger to get together. The only thing I can tell you for sure is that I started with the bracelet tut, and went from there. I hope one of you can do something with the idea that looks pretty, and you can tell me how to do it!!

Very very pretty and wonderful design. I agree with Tom it looks almost old world design. And the way you put the stone in the middle was great idea. Almost like a heart:)

I think you did great also. This is a design that has a lot of directions in which to expand upon. I might even get my scratch pad out and see what I can come up with. WAY TO GO! Who says yours isn't pretty? pppffffttttt.... I think it is and it seems to have lots of caring in its making. Hugs!
