Hi all, We thought we would offer this here first instead of going straight to ebay with it. It is a 10 inch star diamond but with no blade or no motor. I ran it through some tests and it operates very smoothly. Very quiet. Bearings are in like new condition. Blades and motors can be had at reasonable prices and there have been several threads on the board covering these subjects. The price here is $100.00 or best reasonable offer. I have made a new gasket for it and cleaned it up a bit. Thanks for looking! Rodney & Jamie IMG]http://i1008.photobucket.com/albums/af206/rockdigger/stardiamond2002.jpg[/IMG]

Sorry, I forgot to mention the shipping. Depending on where you are it will ship parcel post for around $25.00. If you are overseas send me a note and I will calculate shipping costs for you. Thanks again!

Yep, you are right. I do have the hardware to go with it. The screws for the deck are stainless steel.

That's a great price for this saw. I have one and I'm very happy with it. You might be able to find a vice kit that will fit it, otherwise it would be a fine trim saw.

Tell them about the belt you used when you were testing it. It was very quiet when it was running, compared to our 10" saw, it was a dream. Our saw sounds like a jet when it's getting ready to take off. Was I not supposed to say that?

Sounds like you should swap out saws.

Actually, I am very happy with my 10 inch saw. It is a target tile saw with a thin lapidary blade. It is a little loud but that is just the nature of that type of saw. The speed at which it cuts far outweighs any noise it makes.
As far as the belt I used to test the star diamond out with, well, it was the only thing I had at the moment that would fit on the tiny pulley I had hooked up to an old juicerator supreme. It was one of those straps they use to bundle the flat rate boxes together. For what I was doing, it worked just fine. Got the saw up to 3,000 rpms and it just hummed. The belt never came apart. Pretty tough straps those things are.

I've never seen one without the power feed so don't know how vise attaches but same saw is currently made by Barranca as the PF10. All parts should be readily available. The older ones had vise on right side but this one is same as current models. The factory could install the power feed and vise but you would have to contact them for price. As a hand feed saw it would be very reasonable.
