That's right, our Connrock is going for the title of "World's Greatest Rock Tumbler". We always knew he was that and more, but this would just make it official.  |

Thanks for the kind words,,,,yer makin me blush!
I try to forget about the competition but it keeps haunting me.
The rocks will be judged on October 7 and that seems like an eon away!
I still don't think I have a chance to win with all the tumblers out there who are MUCH better then me.There are times I wish I didn't enter but if I didn't try I would feel even worse about it.
I WANT to know just where I stand and this is really the only way to find out.
I would hate to even think of coming in at about #99!! I'd give all my 10 tumblers away!!
Can ya tell I don't except failure? lol

I somehow missed seeing the updates. Can't wait to hear the results!
The only way you would come out 99th is if you got the worst possible rough and everyone else got flawless stuff. You rank right up there along side the other top tumblers on this site.

I've always shot for the moon in whatever i do.
When I went to welding school I got a final grade of "B+" and was pretty upset over it.I asked the head instructor what I did wrong and he said if you want an "A" I'll give it to you!!!
I said I didn't want him to give me an A ,,I wanted to know why I didn't get one.What did I do wrong!
I was very relieved when he told my grade was a B+ and not an A because i missed 2 classes and not because of my welding.
Now we'll see if I get an A in tumbling or did i miss the boat again!
