I got a call yesterday from a man who wanted to sell an automatic cabbing machine. I went and picked it up, don't know if it will ever be able to work, as I have no idea how it is supposed to work. Neat looking piece of equipment anyways. He says there is one more that has been kept inside and is in much better shape, maybe that one will be easier to figure out. Just thought I would post these as in interesting tidbit. If anyone knows anything about this machine I would appreciate any info. the inside of the cabinet I think I know where this came from, but I want to verify it before I say anything. Have a great day.................Tony

I always read before looking at the pics and was expecting something small like the one in a past post from someone else. Should have known better.
It is interesting. Are there grinding wheels in there? I don't see any.

Hey Lori, The wheel that is directly in the sunlight is a grinding wheel, it is a convex shaped wheel.
Susan, I have been watching that auction, it actually has a bid on it now. This one is about 6-7 feet tall and weighs about 600 lbs. It took 4 of us just to tip it onto the trailer to get it home. I put it on a pallet when I got it home so I can move it around with the forklift.
Sure would be cool to get this thing to working!

Tony, if you do restore it, can you take a few pics as you go. It would be wicked interesting to watch.

I'd like to watch the rebuild too. It would be fun to watch it grind a cab, but I think it's still cheating LOL.

Holy cow that looks like one complicated machine. I guess you put boulders in one end and the other poops out 300 cabs. lol Never heard of such a thing before.
