I cut this one tonight and thought it was dino bone. Now I'm not so certain. Fresh off the saw soaking in the kitty litter. ANybody wanna take a guess??? Steve

I have some Coprolite that is very similar. Nice piece whatever it is.

If it is bone it had a lot of voids that filled with agate rather than mineral replacement of each cell. The picture doesn't show the cell structure very clearly. I've seen bone with fortification pockets. I found one in the yard (from my dad's rock pile that had the whole center full of calcite crystals.

Yeah, I'd lean towards decayed void filled bone myself because the exterior doesn't look right for agate of similar color and pattern. The old Lagos de Fuego Agate had very similar color and pattern but usually occured in skinny veins and pockets....Mel
