Those do have a good shine, Julie. The crinkly-looking ones - I have a small batch of labs that I've been tumbling for a month now, and when I recharge, I take them out, wash them, and dry them, and they look like that - like an old person who's had their hands in the dishwater way too long.
Will you call them done, or do you have another plan for them? I'd sure like to figure out how to clean up my labs and get something that looks like a shine!

Those Last three pics are very interesting. Curious stones, odd combinations. What is in them? Karock

They were different quartzes that I've picked up Karen, the gold quartz at the end looks to have possible hematite, but not positive.
If you wanted, you could rebreat the ones with cleavage and undercutting and run them again. You sure got a nice shine on them Julie!

Thanks all!
As always .... because I need variety and I moved on with another batch ....
These have been set aside for ... probably work on a flat lap. This is my toy that I am trying to save for. I think .... each and every one of those will have its ultimate beauty once I get the flat lap. But until then, they are still beautiful to me and life goes on.
As always guys Julie
