I really enjoyed looking at all of these blues, I can see why you like this batch. There are a few really special pieces in there, like the, well- you know, the special ones. Karock

Ooo-weee! Julie. Nice batch. The blues in those rocks really pops out at you! Almost neon looking.

That's a very nice blue throughout that batch. Did you tumble, vibe or combo of both? Did you lose much mass?

Julie: Getting chrysacolla to look that good tumbled is a feat! It is difficult to cab, and these look awesome, it is one of my very favorite materials! Great job! Amber

Special one = the elongated one at 10:00 left edge elongated. Also in third from last frame the elongated one with the white quarts in the middle. There are others too, that one just looked unique to me. I like contrast and oddness and there is alot of it here. Karock

Julie, I would say you got a fantastic batch there! I have not even attempted that yet but I may sometime soon. Thanks for the inspiration! Fran

Good Morning!
Thanks All!
I did this batch in my Lortone 33B. I have not attempted something this soft in the vibe as I know that vibes are very aggressive and it would have eaten up this batch.
As always ... I am keeping logs of everything I do so I can go back and see what I did that I think helped to come out half way decent.
I did not lose a lot of mass on this batch as I was more observant this time with the hard lesson with the Obsidian.
Again .... Thanks all for the input.

Very pretty. I don't care if those mixed hardness get totally shiny or not, they still make very cool stones....Mel

See Julie, patience does pay off. I don't think the vibe would beat them up though. You would have to check more often and you wouldn't get the pebble shapes though. Now that you are an expert try first two steps in Lortone and finish in vibe (if you have enough to fill the vibe).

Beautiful! Much better than I've ever done with such a difficult rock. I do agree that you might try your final polish in your vibe, maybe with some plastic pellets for carrying the polish and cushioning.
