My addiction was with me this morning and I was acting out again. Look what happened this time! Fortunately, there is no Rockaholics Anonymous so I may never beat this thing. It was an absolutely miserable day of drizzle, rain and wind. In other words, wet rock jumped into my wheel barrel simply to get dry. Easy pickings, but a very tough journey to McKay Head this time. These were photographed in the drizzle. No sunlight to bring out there beautiful colour, but I couldn’t wait to post. Apple (big apple) for scale and colour. First, a quick walk around the pile. If that didn’t catch your eye, maybe a few close-ups will help. These are mostly jaspers, agatized jaspers, a few agates, quartzy stuff and the occasional odd and end (illegal aliens) that the glaciers left behind. Sorry about the focus … drizzle, rain and a little bit of pain. Hope you enjoyed the tour. It’s Thanksgiving here in Canada and I have a great deal to be thankful for. You know the slab photos will follow. Darryl.

The first close-up shot has flames! You've got to get a cabbing machine, there's some bad@ss cabs in there!
