It looks like all the knives and weapons belong here so here is mine. It is a shell cab that Jamie (I just love her) sent me loooong ago. When I got it, I knew it was going to be a knife or a sword but could not visualize how I was going to do it. Hehe (happy dance) I've been watching Tom's knife and Adrians Tomahawk and all the cool flint knappers and bingo, I got inspired.  back pic for Tweetie  There are some minor imperfections but ..... And Tom, you are right, when working this, the thoughts of other crafters who unknowingly inspire are indubidably woven into the work. Thanks for looking. |

Very cool! You got some good inspiration on that one. The coils at the top of the shell/base of the hilt are intriguing. I'm trying to visualize how those could be done with the shell in place, and my fingers are saying, "NO! NO! NO! NO!" LOL!

Yup, there are a lot of styles I haven't mastered yet, some of the things others post in the wrapping section make my eyes do this . I want to thank you all for the wonderful comments.
