As I was grinding away at some preforms last night, and my grinder over heated again (I can only get about 8 done before it does that. Has done that since day one!) I looked around and realized it will take me years to finish all that I have started...yet I still have more I want to jump on. This morning I took pictures to prove my addiction case. Now, I dare anyone to show their addiction here too! Where do I start...Hmmm, how about all the preforms and dopped ones all at different stages of progress All goldstone Softer pinks Waiting for the grind Stashed on a top shelf Receintly dopped (that would be my halloween cab but there is no way I will get it done) The rest of my newly dopped cabs. A very few of my slabs Some more slabs These Agate/Jaspers and Quartz are waiting for enough stone to go into the 500 grit in the vibe. And lastly but not nearly all of it, this is some of my rock storage, mostly ready for tumbling. No wonder I never get anything done! Now I have to take tomorrow to do a good cleaning that is long overdue Fran

I can relate. I don't have the time to do as much grinding as I would like, but I have about a ton of rock in my shop and I want more...lol.

Fran, I LOVE IT!!!!! One suggestion though....set everything else aside and concentrate on your ONE for the Halloween Competition!!!! Now...go and pull that one out and place it 1st on the priority list. Steve

All I can say is, what is the good of having a hobby if you can't go overboard...?

Steve, I may have to do that. jcinpc, I love your sunsets and what is all that beautiful material you have all over the place! There are some fantastic slabs there too! Toad, you make me feel better. Sometimes I wonder what I am doing, hehehe! Fran

Fran: You crack me up, the problem is we keep getting more and more and want to cab it all and there just are not enough hours in a day! I agree with Steve, get the Halloween one done and worry about the rest later, I finally am making a broder of roock in my garden I dont have enough room in the basement for it all! Then when Tony cuts he can just grab it! That is the great thing about rock, it doesnt spoil or get old, and you can leave it outside!!!! JC that is not even a thrid of your rock pile, LOL
