I cut this Agate nodule last night. Boy was I excited when I saw the inside. The tiles in the background are 4" square. The photo shows the ends and slabs dry.

Hey Curt,
I would love to show some better close-up pictures but the camera I am currently using is horrible for taking close-up pictures. I had a better camera but broke it. A new camera is on the list of rock hounding things to buy but not on the top of it yet.

Holy crap! That's one hella huge chunk of opal! Is that something that's common in that size, or is that piece extremely rare?
