I got a 9# Tumler tumbler in August and have finally completed two loads of broken wine bottles of the 7 days and 7 days and 3 days and then sent the keepers on thru a final 7 days of polish. I've diamond-drilled some to hang (perfect to hang on at eye level on a screen door to keep the wine drinkers from walking thru). When I saw Bikerrandy's tutorial on wire wrapping, I grabbed a handful of tools and some 20 gauge copper wire from the garage and followed his terrific sequence of pictures for awhile. My, ah, creation is a little crude, but I can see the possibilities. What have I learned? Patience, grasshopper. The multiple sequence of grits for days is just a suggestion. Drilling glass with a diamond bit or a tile bit is tricky. What comes out from the coarse grit is not what comes out after the next tumble with finer grit or polish. Wine festivals are a good source of blue glass. One tumbler is not enough.

Patience Grasshopper! I am so glad that I am not the only that has heard that time and time again.
I feel so relieved!!!
Goodness .... sounds like you have a great start on things and when you find your groove, you too will giggle later.
Nice Job!!!

Now you present me with a delima. Go smash all the empty wine bottles in my garage. Are save them for the mead thats brewing. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Got it Smash the bottles then I have an excuse to drink all the mead when its done instead of bottleing it. Problem solved. BTW It looks like your doing better at wrapping then I did. Keep it up.
