Donna got me thinking, and this is what I came up with. I added an extra inch to one of the strands and ran it to the opposite side with the other two for a slightly new and contrasting look. Opinions and ideas are always welcome!! The cab is the inside of a thunderegg from "Toad". Black background....

I think it looks cool! I like to do some of mine this way....not sure why, but it adds something to the look of it. Marie

Randy that is a classy wrap, lots of points of interest without any repeats, I really like it. Now if only I can come up with something different........... Donna

I'm not for hiding the stone with the wire, but technically it is just perfect. It shows your versatility in wrapping, you get to perfection any model. It also adds to the safety of the wrapped stone, is it?

I really like that style. That is a gorgeous cab and wrap.
I've tried doing that once or twice, and I usually end up messing it up. "No imagination" is my undoing. I did get one to be ok, but not great. I need to do it more and get comfortable with it. I can't see ever getting as close to perfection as you, though.

Thanks y'all! Tom- this was all just a pipe-dream up until last year when I really started getting in to this. I got lots of advice from others on how to improve, especially on my binding wraps. (they were loose and uneven). The biggest help for me is to try to do at least two or three every week so that I don't get rusty and continue to improve. I always study other peoples wraps as well to come up with new ideas. The most important thing is to have fun!! ;D

Really like it, Randy. Maybe just would have left off the one loopy-do across the center of the stone. But fantastic work on both rock and wire.
