Great looking stones Marie. I like the samples that you have highlighted. The Agates have good colours, are they from your area.

celt - yep right outta my "back yard". I have a rock pit about 200 ft. behind my house that stretches for about a mile or so down the road....never have covered that whole thing!! A few of these are ctually pretty good sized nuggets, which is cool!

Geez, Marie, those are super! I really like the "lakers" - nothing like that around here, that's for sure. You really got a great shine on this batch. How long did it take to tumble these?
That "special" one - it is nifty - looks like a heart inside it. Pretty cool. You should probably wrap that one.

Not sure if that one could be wrapped, it's in the perfect shape of a droplet. Like someone poured something REALLY thick out of a spout. I could try it though!! As far as how long? Man o Man, some of those were in most of the summer in rough grind, with grit re-charges every week, the preforms didn't take as long. As for each indiviual rock, I couldn't tell ya. some of these babies have been driving me NUTZZO all summer long. 3rd picture, far upper right corner, there is a laker with red banding, hard to tell with my crappy photo skills, but that laker is actually a pale lavendar color, with red banding, that one I know for sure was in since the beginning of summer!!! Picture #6, with the 4 agates, the yellow colored one was also in all summer long for sure! I finally decided that's as good as it's gonna get. It was completely yellow when I found it, with only that bit of druzy showing.....least now you can see the agate! Thanks everyone! I am super happy with this batch........ Marie

"It's just a rock" - is what my wife and others say to me. They just don't get it. That is why I love the RTH people, cuz they do get it. Lovely post. Thanks Karock

Thanks Toad & Montana! Karock - I hear it all the time too. "You bring home any more rocks, and we won't have anywhere to put anything else!" "whatcha gonna do with all of them anyways?" , Yep I hear it all too. And your right...they just DON'T get it, but I don't care, I'm gonna keep bringin them home anyways!!LOL Most of them I DON'T know what I will do with, but a lot of them already have a home. Like the tinies will be picture frames or vases, and the preforms will be jewelry, the nuggets? not sure, but I'll figure something out!!
