Good batches but no doubt the Loto blew away the UV-10. So...what will it take to acheive the same high level of shine in both machines?

I forgot to mention in the post that I used Tin Oxide in the Loto and Cerium in the UV-10.I've used Cerium Oxide in both machines with good results but I'm getting a much better shine with the Tin Oxide.I'm going to re-run the first batch in Tin and see what happens.

Very nice batches! I am wondering if you had enough in the UV 10 for it to work properly. Maybe they just didn't get the full effect of the fold over to develop the polish and maybe did a little rough contact...Hard to say but your lotto stuff really looks fantastic! Fran

Yep, I think you're right - the Lot-o did a better job than the UV-10. But it could be also because of the different polishes. Might be worth a shot to redo the UV-10 batch for 24 hours with tin oxide and see what it looks like. All told, though, very nice batches.

Love the colors and shapes - and some nice shine out of the Lot-O

Great Batch and variety! Man, the blues out of the Lot-o are seriously glossy.

Beautiful batch of stones, we liked the blue chalcedony, look like the agate we are finding in Montana. Does it diffract light to create iridescent "iris"? Debby and Tom

I tried shining a flashlight on a few pieces and didn't see any iridescence.I was going to rerun these but my daughter wanted to fill another glass bowl so I gave in like I usually do.I'm going to play around with different polishes this winter but so far I'm liking that tin oxide.
