If you have never tried cutting opal, I gotta say it is a blast! I just bought a 100 gram jar of lighting ridge opal (mostly potch) for 15 bucks so that I could give it a try, and I am totaly addicted already! Pics 'will' come after I finish cabbing some tripplets that I am working on. Some of this stuff is great, except it is so small I gotta use matchsticks as dops. I really lucked out on the rpice cause I got one peice of black harleiquin (sp?) opal about 1 carat or so, which should pay for this and many more jars.
