Ok, I might not be the first to think of this but I thought I would give it a shot. The Louisiana state stone is petrified palm wood so I thought of this! What do you think?

Ok better jump on the state rock bandwagon since there are only a few of us in Montana as far as I know. Montana actually has two state gemstones: Agate and Sapphire (more specifically the Yogo Sapphire) - might be neat looking to combine the two.
I like what you did with Louisiana very nice job.
