Don't have a before picture, wish I did because I thought this was just an ugly old funny looking rock when I threw it in the tumbler. Turned out really neat! Don't know what kind of bone it is but a bone it certainly is.

You know what donnie? I almost think that is a petrified limb cast rather than a bone. I could be wrong but I don't see any cell structure and the way the center is all filled in with an agate looking substance, I think it is more in keeping with a limb cast. That is pretty neat also! We will have to see if anyone else says anything here.

OK, thanks. Looks like a bone to me, but then I wouldn't know the difference anyway. I just assumed it was because of the shape and color. It's always nice to get another pair of eyes on it that know more than I do.
