Hi Folks,
the Northern Virginia Mineral Club is having their 18th annual gem, mineral and fossil show on November 21st and 22nd Location: Student Union II Building George Masson University Campus Braddock Road & Route 123 Fairfax, VA Parking: Look for posted signs about the show. I have been told it will be in parking lot A and there will be a shuttle bus from that parking lot to the Student Union building. Hours: Saturday 10-6, Sunday 10-4 Adults $4, Seniors & Teens (13-17) $3 Children 12 and under, Free Usually not a lot of slabs but lots of fantastic things to see and we have a florescent mineral room and a kids fun area where they have some hands on learning. I will be working the ticket counter from 12:30 till over on Sunday ;D Fran

Well that was fun for my first show. We are going to try and make the Delaware Show which sounds great. My wife saw the fluorescent room and the next I know we got a big fluorescent rock. I tried to tell her I just want to dig for gems. Now she is talking about buying a collection. This bug really bit her Well as long as we are having fun
