I am drafting a petition regarding the closure of the barnett and nowak opal mines, and I need any information about the area that I can find. If you are familiar with the mine and you wouldliek to help, please send me a private message so I can ask you questionas aout the experainceyou had there. even if you have only been a fewtimes, I would still appreciate it if I could record your experiances. I am also looking for specimens of opal from that area that I can give to the park superintendant as examples of is there to be found. Private message me if you can help.
