Here are a few I have been working on for this weekends show. The first three are my first attempt at doublets. They are Paua shell with obsidian backs The paua really is cool. If you roll it around it will flash color change like opal. This one has a simulated opal accent w/ Green Onyx Accent Koroit Paua and Koroit B.O. Could not get a picture to really show off this BO. if you roll it around in the light everything that is blue flashes green. It really is quite awesome. Same thing with this one. Got a green flash to show in this pic but it actually runs from the top to the bottom Another Koroit

Your work is truly fantastic.......as well as the shine that you get on your boulder opal.

I really do enjoy seeing your work - those stones are fabulous, and the silver work is, too! I wish I could find some classes here to learn a bit of silversmithing. I think it really adds a huge new dimension to the originality of the resulting pieces. WTG!

Man, you are on a roll! All super, all beautiful. Looks like you did granulation on the plates this time. So I get a mill...and you one up me into granulation Or maybe it is stamping..can't tell. Good luck at the show...I can see you won't need luck...those are great and should sell themselves. If that is some of the new from Gene, I'd say you did well! Tony

Tony Tony, It is all from the new stuff I got, this all came out of the "crack' bucket. I have not even started to play with any of the other stuff. I have one I am setting to night that looks like it runs on batteries. What kind of food do you serve??
