Hi everyone,
I just finished that pendant for Ina's birthday. Here are some pics from the progress:
Here are the five petals (some plume I think), the middle (a nice orbicular material, it was soft and took a dull shine but I think it's propper for the midle) and two smaller cabs for matching ear rings:
Ioana helped me in choosing the materials and I think she was inspired.
Notice the double grooved middle of the flower:
Then I started to wrap the petals:
I wrapped them one by one, until I wrapped all of them. Then, when I finished the coil of the 5th petal, I cut it and, together with the coil I ACCIDENTALLY CUT THE REST OF THE WIRE !!!
So I had to rework all the five petals again. Much more careful when I cut the wires, this time.
And here it is, finished:
