I almost forgot - I called "time" on a Lortone 1.5 barrel full of sodalite today that's been tumbling since early September. Turned out ok for my purposes - gonna line the bottom of a flower bowl with them. Thanks for looking! Tom

Sodalite can be difficult sometimes but you got a nice shine on that batch!

That is a nice batch of sodalite. I have a batch of those going myself, a bunch of off cuts from a couple spheres I made.

Not sure where this came from - I got it from the Rock Shed. I know that some is found in parts of Canada, British Columbia, Maine, Arkansas, Brazil, Bolivia, Portugal, Romania, Burma and Russia.
This info I got from Wikipedia.

Ask the Rockshed. For a lot of their material, they say where it came from. I've been very satisfied with the material I've ordered from them.
Last I looked, Mama's M1nerals had sodalite on sale. Small pieces, but a very good price. I don't work there and haven't yet ordered from them either, so I'm not endorsing anything, just a tip.
