agates....but not lakers, unless you were born with some kind of angelic patience!! LOL Beach rocks work well too.

Definitely agates because they're easy to learn on: consistent hardness and they take a high polish.

I would agree that Agates are the best to start with.Are you using a vibe or rotary?
