The Stinking Water I've collected in the past was similar in plume type ( sort of fluffy plumes) but was white on fairly clear agate. You might check the Agate with inclusions site and see if he has any with the yellow. Usually color is just a matter of the mineral salts that permeate the agate so I see no reason why inclusions of iron or some such shouldn't make some Stinking Water have more of a yellow coloration.....Mel

there is also a material which was dug in the 50's by the Darr's which was from the Warm Springs Reservoir in SE Oregon which looks very close to this. I have a chunk or two left in the pile of agate. Most of the material was very clear agate and sometimes when cut very thin would produce iris agate. When Darr's sold thier property I ended up with all left over rock. I still have little over a ton of agate!

Some nice material came off the area of the WarmSprings Res. on the east boarder Hy-97 just North of Madras, was a area out side of Boundary of Res. Known as Poppy Patch.
In the 70s the East Warmspring boundary was re-surveyed. to present line ditch along Hy-97.
Though the material was tube agate for the most part and a wide variety of Moss and Plume mix.
Mary Ann. Looking Close to the plume and the clear agate, i would say it came from the same area of formation, any area in agate beds in Oregon the colors, plumes, ect. change in a few foot steps. Think about the ridge for Graveyard agate, Strata bed formation for miles, And a Claim every 20 Acres.
