You will be able to keep it running 24/7!! They are nice for all sorts of things. Just thinking what I could do with all the thundereggs I have cut in half in my shop........ Man, you could have a table of just eggs set up for sale! Too cool, good luck with it. Should be a great addition to your shop. Sounds like you might wish it were 16 foot in dia. instead of inches with all the things it will do and all the people wanting things done!! Bill

I think you picked out a nice size, John. After some time you might want to add another if you really are using it a lot. I gotta believe that in the end it might be better to have two smaller laps rather than one really big one. I can just see with my luck running a big one...... a bunch of stuff in there and all are done except one or two slowing the whole works up getting on to the next stage!! You might end up getting another pan for it too, maybe one for just the polish stage. You know how that goes, bigger=more money for parts and stuff. I think you are going to have a ball with the lap, looks just perfect to me!! Bill

sands that is the one i have and i'm still trying to learn to use it! get some glad press 'n' seal for the top to keep it from splashing stuff out. and share all your tips with me. i put a big weight on my first slice and pho thinks i didn't use enough water with my grit. anyway i made the nicest scored checked pattern in the slice. but i didn't want to lol.

Kim im a beginner so don't expect to much help in the beginning hahaha
hey can ya do more then one slab at a time on the thing
and im thinkin when a slab is cut with a diamond saw it has like a 220 face all ready so im gonna try and start with 400 grit and see what happens where do you start??
