Hi everyone, this is really my second batch of rocks. My first batch of rocks I tumbled that came with the tumbler, sadly, did not shine. After reading this advice on this forum, I got a batch of pretty, shiny rocks! ;D Here they are, but I don't know the types of rocks they are but I got them from the beach: Thanks for looking! -Lynn and Diane(my Mom)

Nice batch - looks like mostly agates of some sort. I like the ones that are a kind of mottled brown color. WTG!

Lots shine, not sure what the stone is, but some look like quartzite. Debby and Tom

Looks like you got great shine on some of those. Probably get even better results if you pull out the ones with lots of pits/crevices.

Thanks for all the kind words. I have another batch tumbling in the prepolish stage, so I'll be putting up new pictures in about 2 1/2 weeks. Its more beach rocks, but hey they are free for me, and lots of fun to gather.

Sometimes free is best. I've loved tumbling stuff I've found.

looks like a lot of them are quartzite, and you got a good shine on them, which can be tricky. Well done!

Yep, they are just like the Cape May Diamonds that wash up on the beach due to a shipwreck diverting the current. Sunset Beach is know for them too! They look great, good job!
