Here’s a few photos from my November UV-10 batch. Many are Bay of Fundy agate and jasper performs and tumbles from McKay Head, Nova Scotia. A few are the “usual suspects” from the Rock Shed. I had more than the usual amount of pitting and “crusty edges” on this batch in spite of using MANY ceramic pellets after the first 120/220 stage. I’ll pull out the “custies” and give them a second run to see if I can rescue them. Failing that, I’ll blame the rock unless you have any suggestions. Darryl. I know it can be frustrating when they don't turn out as beautiful as you know they can be! It happens a lot with mixed harnesses in the same stone. Good luck with the second grind. I hope many will come out good for you! Fran

Nice batch Darryl!I like that Green Moss.I don't think I've ever had a batch that didn't have a few throw backs,it's what makes this hobby so challenging.

Nice looking batch considering it looks as if you got a lot of mixed hardness stones in there. The preforms look especially nice.....Mel

I like the stuff in the back that looks like candy corn!!! I think they look really good, tumbling is hard!!! There are always some that just disappoint, but I think these look super!
