......is not quite as fun as the first. We are moving in a week and had to move all of the rock that we just organized over the last couple of months. Moved 800 lbs Friday, 1500 lbs yesterday and still probably have another 500 lbs. to go. We just had family help unload a 20" saw a month ago.....now those same family members will be helping to reload and unload it again LOL. Im sure they are thrilled. Here's Lillie sitting in the trailer with the rock that she helped load/unload. Course, her "helping" consisted of groaning loudly as she scooted one bucket of rocks across the trailer for every 5 or 10 of ours. LOL. The oldest daughter groaned just as loud. But hey, it was an outing spent together as a family and as you can see, there were still smiles present. ;D Moving is a great time to start fresh, get rid of some junk and start over nice and organized but I will be glad when its over!!! LOL! They may grumble, but I think they really enjoy being included! That Lillie's a cutie, too! That's a whole lotta rock - if I put all that I have together, I might be able to fill one or one and a half of those buckets - and I'll never get around to most of it!

Congrats on the new place! At least you got them organized before you had to move, it is much harder diggin them back up out of the dirt! And when rocks become yours, they aren't heavy anymore, didn't you know that?

Really Tony? Cuz my shoulders sure are screamin today for them rocks not being heavy LOL ROTFL, after we dropped the rock off at the new shed.......Dennis told a couple of our friends "the house is officially ours because there's now rock in the shed. Its like peeing on a tree, once you mark it, its yours!" LOL Oh, and I guess we are NOT moving in a week. Just got a call from the owner of the house. The remodel/repairs are done and the house has been professionally cleaned. We can start moving tomorrow, woohoo!!!! Shan

Shannon: I was in Tony's basement the other night, looking at the rock, the saws, the lathe and I said, as much as I want to live with you, I dont want to move your rocks and wood again, LOL!!! You guys are going to have so much fun!!!!! And it will be fun decorating and filling the yard with rocks, LOL. Tell Dennis you need to cover the lawn with all those rocks then he won't have to mow the grass! Looking forward to pics when all moved in! Amber

That is wonderful news! I guess I can't complain about how much rock I have to move soon. It is nothing compared to what you have but I can feel my bones aching and muscles screaming already! I sure hope your move goes well! Fran

When we moved rocks we had some teen boys volunteer to help. They packed them up in boxes, and put them inside the chest freezer that was already loaded on the truck. When we got to the new place, the men moving the chest freezer off the truck forgot the rocks were in it, the comment was 'boy this is heavier than I remember'. We all had a good laugh. Good luck in your new place.
