Ok here is the deal I have some nieces and nephews that I am trying to figure out some polished rock related gifts to give them. I have a couple of jewelry findings that came in the kit with my tumbler but not enough for all and sure the nephews don't want a necklace anyway.
So first what ideas and in what ways have you gifted rocks to kids and adults alike.
Here is an idea that I am thinking about right now. A board game with rocks as the pieces. One side would be tic tac toe and the other a checker board. Than in a little leather (thanks to Julie) pouch would be rocks to use as the pieces. But can you all think of other simple board games that could be used? Maybe something a little simpler than a checkboard.
Oh and remember I have only 22 days to complete it. So nothing too hard. At least not this year.

# can't think of the name but I have a stone board with the # and stones of frogs & dragonfly's, most of the time this game is played with paper == 1st player puts his X in a sq. then 2rd player puts his O in a sq. to win you need 3 of your marks (X or O) in a line. to stop you from winning the X or O is placed to block you. short and easy game. I'm sure someone can come up with the name(old age here)
Also can you come up with Bingo game using stone??

CUL-Ann that game you are describing is Tic Tac Toe. Already planned that one. Pretty simple with just the # patern. And I figured it would be color against color. Maybe Amathyst against clear quartz or something like that.
