Howdy folks, Still working on my odds and ends bucket with a few pieces from here at the ranch and a few Moctazuma agate slices from the workforce. Here are a few pics. thanks for looking....Mel The whole batch. Loads keep getting smaller and smaller as my ancient Lortone motors get weaker and weaker. Close up of some of that weird stromatolite from here on our ranch This is a big moss/tube agate from Horse Canyon. This one took forever. Probably rolled it in coarse for six months to get all the roughness out of it.

Nice variety and nice shine Mel!
The stromatolite is unlike any I've seen before and the Horse Canyon is great!

Beautiful. I think I am getting hooked by the lure of the agate. Ed

Super job, as usual. That piece of poppy jasper just to the right of centre, with the pink poppies outlined with thin black borders, is a real treasure! -Don

Don, I love that type of Hornitos poppy jasper too but up close, like most poppy jasper, it tends to be fairly flawed. If I can find my Opticon in the shop, I'd like to try to treat a slab before cabbing because I've yet to cut a cab of that stuff for my collection, that I'm satisfied with.....Mel
