I like this little round stone, so I gave it the expensive wire, and grooved it so as to not hide any of the stone. Doing the groove freehand, without any kind of jig, it's really hard to get the whole thing the same depth of cut. Thanks for looking, as always, Tom

Wow! Beautiful pendant, the gold goes so well with the colors in the stone.

LOL! I was all set to give this one a name - "River Runs Through It" - but some lady down at the beauty shop bought it from me this morning! Grabbed it right out of my hand, and shoved some bills in place! I was stunned. I guess I should try to do more like this, simple, uncomplicated, with nice patterns. YA THINK!?!?!?!? ;D

You did a beautiful job with the grrove....looks very nice to me. Did you use your saw blade to cut the groove? It sure looks much nicer than the few I've tried on my Gryphonette! Susan

Susan - I have an old Inland glass grinder, and I got a grooving bit for it - it works pretty well, but it's really hard to get the groove to be centered on the girdle all the way around, and even harder to get a constant-depth groove. But I muddle through, anyway, and I pretty much like the results. And my customers seem to like them as well! ;D
